Big things are brewing at Red Roots Trading Company, and we’re thrilled to continue teasing one of the most exciting expansions in our history.

Very soon, Red Roots will be launching same-day tobacco and nicotine delivery from our brand-new Kahnawake super store, serving a huge portion of the Greater Montréal area, all within a 30 km delivery radius from Kahnawake.

That’s right: another major Canadian metro region is about to get the Red Roots trading post experience, with delivery straight to your door with a smile.

And just to be crystal clear right from the start:

This new Kahnawake brick & mortar location and delivery service is strictly tobacco and nicotine products only. NO cannabis products will ever be available through this location or its same-day delivery network.

Why? Because we respect the culture, values, and governance of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, which has long taken a firm stance against substances considered “mind-changers.”

As Kenneth Deer, secretary of the Mohawk Nation in Kahnawake, explained in 2018:

“We shouldn’t be using things that affect the way we think and also the way we behave. That’s why we don’t support alcohol, in the same way we can’t support cannabis.”

At Red Roots Trading Company, proudly Algonquin owned and operated, respect for Indigenous sovereignty and community values always comes first. So while cannabis will remain part of the Red Roots experience in other regions, the Kahnawake location will focus entirely on premium tobacco and nicotine products.

Just like our Ottawa/Gatineau delivery service, the Kahnawake location will offer fast same-day delivery, bringing top-tier tobacco and nicotine products directly to customers throughout the Montréal area.

To keep things running smoothly, we’re rolling out three delivery zones radiating out from Kahnawake.

Zone 1: Up to 10 km Away

South Shore neighbours will be the very first to enjoy ultra-fast deliveries from our new store.

• Delson

If you’re nearby, chances are you’ll be able to get your order in record time.

Zone 2: Up to 20 km Away

Our second delivery ring expands service into major suburbs and parts of Montréal Island.

Communities in this zone include:

• Brossard

• Mercier

• Large portions of Montréal Island

This zone covers a huge population base, bringing the Red Roots delivery experience directly to one of Canada’s largest urban regions.

Zone 3: Up to 30 km Away

Our outer delivery ring stretches across the wider Greater Montréal region.

Coverage will include areas such as:

• Longueuil

• West Island communities

• Parts of Montérégie

In other words, a massive swath of the Montréal metro area will soon have access to Red Roots’ legendary tobacco and nicotine lineup.
