Pierre Parent is an Indigenous artist and social justice advocate originally from Rockland, Ontario, now living and creating in Montreal, Quebec. His work is deeply rooted in lived experience, cultural memory, and a commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices across Turtle Island. As an outreach worker and community supporter, Pierre’s passion extends beyond the canvas. He speaks openly about the realities of Indigenous injustice, healing, and resilience, using both art and storytelling as powerful tools for education and connection. His written work and public speaking reflect the same authenticity and emotional depth found in his visual art. Pierre’s creations often explore identity, belonging, land, and the interwoven histories of Indigenous peoples. Each piece carries a narrative — a footprint — that invites viewers to reflect, learn, and stand in solidarity.
